Overview
Voice recording failures are almost always decided before the record button is pressed — by the room, the microphone placement, the gain setting, or the performer's physical state. A recording made with optimal room conditions, correct microphone positioning, and proper gain staging will require minimal post-production. A recording made in a live room with the microphone too close and gain set too high will require extensive processing that still won't sound as good as a clean source recording.
The Voice Recording Framework solves the problem before the record button — establishing the conditions that produce a clean source that requires only light touching in post.
